How to Maximize Your Brand at STAC Events

Best Practice Guide

Sponsoring a STAC Summit gives you a valuable opportunity to introduce your brand, launch a new concept, or strengthen established relationships with an immensely engaged and industry-focused audience.

From our experience, combining sponsorship of an Innovation Roundup with a Table significantly enhances brand visibility and impact. To help you make the most of your involvement, we’ve put together a STAC Event Best Practice Guide, drawn from our many years of hosting STAC events.

Before the Event

  • Tailor your talk content to the audience. Avoid using generic or “canned” presentations. STAC audiences are highly technical and expect depth, relevance, and substance.
  • Lead your talk with technical value, not sales messaging. Focus on how your solution addresses real challenges with meaningful detail. Overly broad or promotional content will not resonate.
  • Craft a strong five-minute talk. A short presentation requires more focus and clarity. Treat it as a technical teaser — deliver enough insight to spark interest and drive attendees to your table for a deeper discussion.
  • Include a clear call to action. Close your talk by directing attendees to click “Contact Us” in the mobile app on your exhibitor page.
  • Choose the right event team. The most successful exhibitors typically bring one customer-facing technical expert and one commercial lead or sales representative. This balance supports both in-depth discussions and business follow-up.
  • Alert your audience on social media. Posting your event attendance on your socials remembering to tag STAC Research is a great way to alert both yours and STACs followers of your brand.
  • Prepare your event tools and materials:

- Download the Agorify app in advance and familiarize yourself with it as a lead generation tool.

- Ensure your exhibitor profile in the mobile app is complete and includes all requested graphics to maximize visibility and engagement.

- Bring branded giveaways to attract visitors to your table.

- Consider visual elements such as monitors, demos, hardware, or other props — interactive displays consistently draw attention and start conversations.

On the Day

  • Maximise your visibility. Position banners behind your table, but spend most of your time standing in front of it. Proactively engaging passers-by consistently generates more leads than waiting for them to approach you.
  • Use giveaways strategically. Have table giveaways available throughout the day. If you plan a larger giveaway during a break or lunch, STAC can send a push notification via the event app — contact events@stacresearch.com to arrange this.
  • Capture leads effectively. Ask attendees if you may scan their badge and record notes in Agorify immediately after your conversation. This greatly improves the quality of follow-up.
  • Plan your networking time. Review the agenda in advance to identify optimal moments for conversations — coffee breaks, lunch, afternoon breaks, and drinks receptions are key opportunities.
  • Build your ecosystem. Use quieter periods to connect with other vendors. Many valuable partnerships begin at STAC events.
  • Post on your socials. Take a team photo and / or share an event insight. This is a great way to build new relationships.

After the Event

  • Access your leads promptly. Agorify data is available immediately after the event — there is no need to wait.
  • Follow up quickly and thoughtfully. Timely follow-up (within a few days) is critical. Thank attendees for visiting your table and propose clear next steps.
  • Share feedback with STAC. Constructive input is always welcome. The STAC team’s goal is to help you maximise exposure and business outcomes.
  • Plan ahead. Debrief internally with your marketing and sales teams and start preparing for your next STAC engagement. With STAC Summit, AI STAC, and AI STAC Dev events held across multiple cities and seasons, there are ongoing opportunities to build momentum.
